Sinaia Monastery

Founded in 1690 - 1695 by Spatharus Mihail Cantacuzino, the Sinaia Monastery — after 300 years of existence — continues to watch over the town that carries its name, being the Sinaia's spiritual symbol. It contains several sightseeing spots.

The Museum of Sinaia Monastery is the first religious museum from the whole country, built in 1895.

The tower's Bell that was built in 1892 and weights over 1700 kg. Nearby, there are many memorial houses from which we mention: George Enescu House, Luminiş de Cumpătu Cottage, Nicolae Iorga's Memorial House or Anastasie Simu's House.
