  • MSC in Computer Science at the Faculty of Mathematics, Dept. of Computer Science, "Al.I.Cuza" University of Iasi, Romania. MSc thesis on complexity of Formal Languages.

  • PhD in Computer Science awarded by the "Babes-Bolyai" University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. PhD thesis on semantic and protection models for scientific and statistical databases.

Domains of expertise: Genetic Algorithms and Evolutionary Optimisation; Databases (data mining; statistical databases; relational model).

  • From 2000: professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi.
