  • Currently, I prepare my PhD thesis in Computer Science, with the subject Ontology-Based Modeling and Recommendation Techniques for Adaptive Hypermedia Systems. I already finished my preparatory exams (about the "Hypermedia Web Technologies", and "Formal Languages and Automata"), and my preparatory papers ("Languages for Synchronized Hypermedia Presentations: SMIL and HTML+TIME", "XML Querying Techniques and Languages", and "Formal Models Used in the Web Documents Synchronizing Process").

  • As programming skills, I could mention a good ability to develop projects in C/C++/Visual C++, PHP/MySQL, XML languages (including XSLT, XML Schema, XQuery, SMIL, OWL, DOM implementations), Delphi. I mention that at all my classes, the students have to develop semester projects under my supervision, and also I currently supervise the Bachelor theses of 20 students.

  • I am the titular of the Web Design, eLearning, eCommunication, eBusiness, and eTranslation courses, taught to the undergraduate, post-graduate and distance learning students. I collaborate with the faculties of Letters, Law, Theology, Business&Economy, especially for teaching the eLearning course, but also in some projects.

  • I taught, also, seminar and practical works in C/C++ Programming, Algorithms Design, Project Design, and Web Technologies.

  • I published 5 books, 14 papers at international conferences, 10 articles in national publications, and I gave 6 talks at national workshops, and 1 talk at an international workshop.

Also, I participated last year in developing the proposal for the Innovative Teacher project (Leonardo Da Vinci, 2005-2006, directed by the Sofia university), which was successfully accepted, and started since 1 October 2005: http://i-teach.fmi.uni-sofia.bg , and then in the next projects proposals.

Also, I have Driver licence cat B since 1997. I am a sportive nature: I practiced basketball during high school, and now I play aerobics and fitness.
