Petri Nets and their Applications to Workflow Management
in conjunction with SYNASC 2006

 

Call for Papers

 

Objective PN&WM 2006 aims to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in Petri net theory and its applications to workflow management.

Topics of particular interest include:

  • Petri nets
  • workflow management
  • process modeling
  • soundness criteria
  • verification, validation and performance analysis of workflow management systems
  • security in workflow management systems

Organization The workshop, a one-day event, is a satellite event of the 8th International Symposium on Symbolic and Numeric Algorithms for Scientific Computing that is to be held in Timisoara, Romania, on September 26-29, 2006.

Submission Papers are solicited reporting new results as well as experimental evaluation and comparisons of existing techniques. Papers
  • must describe original work;
  • must not substantially overlap with papers that have been published or that are simultaneously submitted to a journal or a conference with refereed proceedings;
  • must be limited to 8 pages (IEEE paper style);
  • should be submitted either in PostScript or PDF to pnwm2006@infoiasi.ro

Important Dates

  • Deadline for paper submissions: July 15, 2006 July 30, 2006
  • Notification of acceptance: August 20, 2006
  • Final version of papers due: September 1, 2006 September 10, 2006
  • Workshop: September 28, 2006
